This Voucher Includes:
Planning layout of installation with the customer.
Installation of brackets and mounting of both units.
Drilling of holes for piping to the outside unit.
Connection of the pipe, drain, and communication cable to the units which includes 3m piping, 3m electrical cable, and 3m set as standard height
Connection of power and testing of units for optimal operation& Demonstration of aircon settings
Re-gassing the air conditioner on initial installation
Guarantee a 1 (one) year warranty on installation.
This Voucher Excludes:
Trunking
Circuit breaker
Power point for 24000BTU unit.
The COC is not included and can be provided at an additional cost. This will require a COC to be issued by a registered electrician.
Plastering and painting if not as a result of the installation
Cutting into a roof or wall to accommodate placement of the air conditioning units
Installation on the roof at night or during periods of heavy rain
Installation greater than standard height
Moving of furniture
Hiring of professional cleaning services
General:
The position where the installation will be done must be easily accessible
The air conditioner purchased must be of the correct BTU for the room area
The air conditioner purchased will be installed as a back-to-back unit and not as a split unit
Any additional work required must be quoted by the installer and paid for directly by the customer
The service is strictly limited to the described terms and conditions. Full terms and conditions are available at time of purchase
Specific Customer Considerations (This is for Aircon Installations specifically):
Should the Customer request the condenser unit be placed on the roof, then the Customer shall be responsible for any waterproofing repairs or maintenance arising as a result of said installation. The Service Provider shall not be responsible for any damage caused to the roof, including but not limited to any consequential damage, damage to any waterproofing nor arising as a result of any damage to the waterproofing.
Certain municipalities require an isolator to be installed for every air conditioner 9000BTU and above to be placed not more than 2 (two) meters from the condenser unit. This must be done by a qualified, registered electrician. It is a legal requirement to obtain a certificate of compliance from the electrician after the isolator has been installed. This work does not form part of the installation and must be arranged with a suitably qualified electrician and paid for separately.
